Legal Secretary Duties: Transcribing dictated correspondence. Revisions to prepared pleadings and correspondence. Collection of medical records. Printing and binding of medical records and depositions. Managing and coordinating calendars, both personal and professional. Coordinating and booking travel arrangements. Coordinating and tracking expense books. Provide administrative support for partner. Entering billable time into task-based software program. Saving and printing emails. Requirements: High school diploma. 1 year of legal secretary experience preferred. Proficiency in Word and Adobe Acrobat. Strong work ethic and ability to self-start. Adapts easily to new concepts and responsibilities. Exceptional ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments. Strong attention to detail. A positive attitude and commitment to excellence. Ability to work with little supervision, problem solve, and to seek help when needed. Ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
