Paralegal The candidate will contact and interview clients for information pertinent to their case. Review, analyze, and organize factual information. Assist in the preparation for trials, depositions, and mediations. Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings, discovery, interrogatories, and motions. Schedule court appearances, attorney client meetings, response deadlines, depositions and activities related to depositions (i.e. court reporter, witnesses, opposing counsel). Track all requests made for documents and records, follow up on status of requests, and verify receipt of documents and records. Compose letters to clients, court officials, and opposing counsel. Minimal dictation. Performing other administrative or office duties as required or as assigned. Paralegal Skills and Qualifications Minimum of 1 to 3 years of paralegal experience. Paralegal degree. Exceptional work ethic and positive attitude. Must be able to work in fast-paced environment. Attention detail is imperative. Proficient knowledge of legal terminology, principles, and basic procedures. Possess organizational and time management skills. Above average skills in MS Office Applications. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
