Business Paralegal Responsibilities: Review and draft routine legal documents. Create and maintain case files. Facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders. Conduct legal research. Summarizing cases and preparing reports for attorneys. Conducting research, investigating facts and developing legal arguments. Preparing and filing documents with courts. Organizing and archiving the documents related to completed and ongoing cases. Keeping track of changes in legal framework and providing timely updates on these changes. Preparation of federal estate tax returns, a plus. Qualifications: Experience as a legal secretary or assistant or paralegal. Transactional, estate planning and estate administration experience preferred. Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificate. Understanding of basic legal concepts, terminology, principles and procedures. Excellent communication and writing ability, organizational skills, analytical skills and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently and juggle multiple projects. Attention to detail. Commitment to working as part of team.
