Legal Assistant Paralegal Duties: Management and work on various firm active cases, co-counsel relationships, and deadlines. Prepare, file, and maintain pleadings and litigation support documents in case management software. Manage litigation and case deadlines, tasks, and calendars in case management software. Draft and/or proofread case-related documents, discovery, and correspondence. Interact with clients on case-specific matters. Ensure regular meetings and communications with Co-Counsel. Update and Manage DSS and Firm Calendar. Obtain, File and Manage Case Documents. Update and Manage Firm Contacts. Update and Manage Case Related Emails. Manage Potential New Client Intakes. Help Manage Firm Co-Counsel Relationships. Help Manage Firm Referral Relationships. Open New Matters. Request Necessary Documents, Records, and Bills. Help Draft and/or respond to Discovery. Help Draft and/or edit Pleadings. Help Update and Manage Case Expenses. Attend and take notes during case-related meetings with clients, co-counsel, and third parties.

Associates Degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal, Criminal Justice, or related course of study or Paralegal Certificate Must have 5 Years Experience working in Law Firms. Experience working on large, high-profile matters. Experience working for a busy and high-energy attorney.
