Nurse Paralegal The candidate will analyze medical records. Draft chronologies, timelines or other summaries of documentation in medical records. Identify applicable standards of care in long term care and medical malpractice cases. Evaluate case's strengths and weaknesses. Evaluate causation and damages issues. Educate attorneys and clients regarding relevant medical issues. Participate in case management and case strategy discussions. Assist with preparation for and support during deposition, trial or ADR. Strong background in medical settings: nursing home or hospital required. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) essential. Interpersonal communication skills are must. Active license as RN required.
