Paralegal / Legal Assistant The candidate will be responsible for: Client relationship management, including keeping clients updated on developments, receiving incoming communication and determining the appropriate response. Identifying opportunities to improve operations and propose solutions. Coordinate, organize, prepare, and interpret legal documents. Review financial documents to prepare financial disclosures. Calendar events and deadlines to ensure timeliness across the firm. Prepare first draft discovery requests and responses. Finalize attorney work product so that it is ready to file/send. Perform factual research in internal and external databases, libraries, and other sources. Should have 2+ years of legal experience, California family law experience preferred. Must meet the minimum California paralegal qualifications under B&P Code section 6450. ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred. Must have advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
