Litigation Support Analyst Duties: Responsible for day-to-day litigation support functional needs of assigned cases, from case consultation on preservation, collection, processing and production and trial support; Responsible for creating databases and developing applications; Responsible for manipulation and processing of data; Responsible for edits to video and media files for production and trial support; Responsible for assessment of incoming data as to size and formatting and generating scope reports; Responsible for monitoring pilot scenarios including sample/demo databases and testing/quality checking data; Responsible for data validation and system/access management utilizing SOPs as required; Responsible for maintaining orderly filing and organizational scheme for media; Monitors project/case status and provides routine status reports including task completion reports and data delivery schedules; Oversees and coordinates with litigation support vendors; Trains attorneys and staff on use of litigation support applications; Provides quality control on all aspects of data manipulation and production; and Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience developing and managing litigation support data applications and databases required, preferably in a law firm or corporate law department setting. Strong customer service skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to think strategically. Ability to work as a self-starter and take initiative. Project management and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in both a team setting and independently without direction. Ability to meet changing deadlines. Ability to assess cost/benefit of a course of action. Ability to prioritize to change and balance competing demands. Ability to read and write technical instructions, brief correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present routine information and status in one-on-one or small group meetings. Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to solve practical problems, dealing with a variety of variables where little standardization exists. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Proficiency in: Concordance, Ipro, Case Map, TimeMap, LiveNote, Sanction, Trial Director, LAW, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Access. Comprehensive understanding of electronic discovery guidelines including preservation, collection, culling ,and processing and production protocol. Understanding of comprehensive online review applications such as ADI, Relativity, and FYI etc. Working knowledge of: Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), iManage, FTP Transfer Protocol, Encryption Protocol.
