Family Law Paralegal The candidate will be providing support to the attorney. Drafting motions, including discovery motions. Preparing financial disclosures. Drafting and editing correspondence. Performing legal research and drafting research memorandums. Extensive interfacing and coordinating with clients. Assisting with trial preparation. Maintaining and organizing case files, including discovery coordination, managing documents and other materials produced or received in discovery, and electronic document management. Draft and respond to discovery demand. Conducting document review, creating detailed summaries. Should preferably have a Bachelor's degree. A Paralegal Certificate is also preferred. Must have 3-5 years of family law paralegal experience. MS Office experience is also required. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. Must have the ability to interact with others in a mutually courteous and professional manner. Exceptional writing or oral skills are required. Superior communication, problem-solving and legal research skills are needed. Must be detail-oriented and able to coordinate multiple work streams under deadline pressure. Should have demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple projects and timelines.
