Personal Injury Paralegal with Experience The candidate will be answering written discovery requests. This necessitates a large amount of client communication and document exchange. A litigation paralegal is expected to be able to read medical records and prepare the lawyer for any issues that are referenced in the medical records that may have not been noticed prior to suit. Investigator/process server, sets depositions and hearings, prepares lawyers for and attends some depositions, prepares lawyer for and attends some hearings, communicates with experts as needed, prepares mediation position statements, requesting and tracking relevant medical records and medical billing information. This position requires an individual who is highly detailed, organized and demonstrates the ability and willingness to follow-up and see each request through to completion. Must possess exceptional organizational, time-management, multi-tasking skills; Proven job diligence, dedication and attention to details; Copying/scanning medical records accurately and correctly, according to requests and established standards of quality and productivity; Electronically manage and organize a large caseload of client medical records and bills to per client; Sends requests and authorizations for release of medical information according to established procedures and HIPAA guidelines, Assists with the preparation of demand packages from paralegals and attorney; Performs quality checks on all work to assure accuracy of the medical records, communication with medical facilities, and proper invoicing;
