Associate Attorney Candidate will be responsible for all aspects of a client s case. Must be able to convey complex theories in a way that the layman can quickly understand. Frequent meetings with clients and other counsel, finalizing simple pleadings drafted by paralegals, drafting advanced pleadings, preparing for and attending court hearings, attending mediations and status conferences, and require the willingness and ability to prepare for and handle probate and superior court hearings and trials.
Requirements: JD Degree. Must be a good standing member of the Connecticut Bar. 3+ years' experience in Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration. Experience in residential Real Estate a plus. Strong research and writing skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. Excellent organizational skills. Experience managing a full caseload. Must have above-average written and verbal communication skills.
