Legal Secretary Duties: Producing information by transcribing, formatting, inputting, editing, retrieving, copying, and transmitting data. Reviewing and verifying correspondence, reports and legal documents; drafting letters and documents; and taking responsibility for organizing client conferences, scheduling couriers and preparing submittals for expert evaluation. Maintaining attorney calendar by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, depositions, and travel. Recording and monitoring court appearance dates, pleadings, and filing requirements; monitoring evidence-gathering and deadlines.
Qualifications: Knowledge of PA and NJ e-filing; and of Microsoft Office suite Strong communication, grammar and typing skills Knowledge of digital dictation, a must. Highly organized, able to multi-task and prioritise tasks in a high-pressure environment with great efficiency and accuracy. A team player who is able to work as part of a team but also on own initiative. Discreet, trustworthy, reliable and calm under pressure.
