Transactional Attorney The ideal candidate will work closely with the firm's clients, administrative staff, and senior attorneys. Will preside over paralegals, and administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings, and completing client projects. Counsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcome. Determine case strategies and solutions to serve the client's needs after analysis. The candidate should have Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for 2+ years. Must be experienced in corporate and tax law, including representation of tax-exempt entities and/or social enterprises. Must currently be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is necessary. Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills are required. Strong knowledge of legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis products is required. Knowledge of any practice management software (Clio preferred). Experience with contract drafting, negotiation, and review is essential. Significant experience with forming and advising tax-exempt organizations, social enterprises, or other business structures is essential.
