Paralegal/Legal Assistant The candidate will conduct research to support legal proceedings. Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents; Manage client files; Trial Preparation for Criminal law firms; Assist with all phases of criminal cases state and federal; Record and store client information; Manage efilings in state and federal courts; Organize case files electronically and maintain detailed case logs. Must have 5+ years previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field. Should have familiarity with legal research. Must have ability to multi task in a highly productive fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Bi-lingual a plus. Must have proficient in monitoring and calendaring hearings docket entries and other required court deadlines. Should have exceptional client management skills on phone, in person and via emails. Must have proficient in Case management software. Should have detailed oriented and professional attitude. Must have working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of criminal cases State and Federal. Should have proficient in Microsoft Office. Must have federal criminal law paralegal with a 5 years experience. Type minimum of 65 wpm is needed.
