Director, Attorney Recruiting Duties: Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, will work with firm leadership, including but not limited to, the Director of Professional Development, Department Chairs, Section Leaders, Office Managing Partners, and Hiring Committee Chairs, to set and implement the firms recruiting strategy. Direct all aspects of attorney recruiting, including summer associate, entry-level and lateral hiring. Provide leadership and vision in the development of new and innovative law student and attorney recruitment strategies. Create and maintain recruiting policies, procedures, and goals. Enhance and streamline the support and delivery of the firms attorney hiring and onboarding activities. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with law schools and search firms nationwide. Design and implement diversity recruiting initiatives to attract and hire top diverse legal talent. Present data and trend analysis to firm leadership. Use data to make and support strategic proposals. Develop and manage recruiting team members located in offices across the firm. Collaborate with Director of Professional Development and others in creating integration programs to ensure lateral attorneys are effectively integrated. Collaborate with Marketing and Business Development department to develop effective marketing materials for the firms recruiting initiatives. Prepare and manage Recruiting Department budget. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree from four-year college/university required. 10+ years of related work experience. Law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred; additional experience within a search firm a plus. Demonstrated success in managing a team, leading firmwide initiatives, and developing effective working relationships. Advanced organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to respond to multiple priorities and meet varying deadlines with a client service approach. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Tracking system experience (LawCruit, Workday, or viRecruit preferred). Ability to travel to other offices as needed.
