Medicaid Paralegal & Coordinator Responsibilities: Preparation of Medicaid Applications (home care and institutional, including financial accounting and asset tracking, representation before the Department of Social Services, assistance with Fair Hearings and establishment of pooled income trusts. Analysis of financial records for verification of income, identification of additional accounts, analysis of gifting or theft. Qualifications: Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Professional demeanor and positive, client-first attitude. Ability to read and understand financial statements. Proficient in Microsoft Word and general computer skills (knowledge of Time Matters and Bill Quick a plus). Must be pro-active, meticulous, self-starter, quick study, organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task. Desire/ability to work successfully in a team oriented environment.
