Criminal Defense Paralegal The candidate will calendar, establish priorities, and meet deadlines. Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public. Communicate with clients and give updates. Should preferably have a high school or equivalent degree with 3+ years of CO criminal law experience (misdemeanors, felonies, and municipal court, rights restoration in state courts) and 1 year of Microsoft Office experience; knowledge of criminal defense procedures and technical legal terms; experience preparing legal pleadings and correspondence; experience in drafting court pleadings; proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office; experience with case management software; excellent problem-solving skills; experience e-filing; ability to interact effectively with staff and clients; experience with state and court filings a plus; ability to understand court minute entries; leadership qualities is highly desired. Must be responsible, reliable, and maintain confidentiality.
