Junior Real Estate Attorney The candidate will attend sales and support staff in overseeing the Virginia foreclosure and eviction process including attending court hearings when necessary, along with assisting other departments. Will be responsible for transactional review of all documents related to the foreclosure process. Attend scheduling conferences, court hearings and foreclosure sales. Draft and/or review motions, other court pleadings, and/or contracts. The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an accredited law school. Must have 1-3 years of experience practicing attorney in the area of real estate or collections. Should have a foundation in collections, bankruptcy or real estate law including strong negotiating skills. Residential settlement/closing knowledge a plus, or willing to learn. Membership in the Virginia Bar and DC Bar required; with Maryland Bar admission a plus.
