This is not an entry-level position and the ideal candidate should have prior experience working in a law firm. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide clerical and research support services as well as document preparation and review. Job Summary: Job Title: Estate Planning & Probate Paralegal Location: Round Rock, TX Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 a year Job Responsibilities: * Provide clerical and research support services including document preparation and review. * Interview clients and witnesses. * Research, investigations, and fact-checking. * Trial preparation. * Develop trusted long-term client relationships as a close professional advisor. * Troubleshoot a variety of seemingly unrelated (but in-fact related) inquiries or concerns. * These needs may include estate planning, real estate, and tax matters. * Provide guidance, tools, and techniques for ongoing customer service, personal growth, and greater income potential. * Resolve legal and procedural disputes. Qualifications: * A four-year college degree is expected unless you have significant prior work experience as a paralegal. * Relationship-oriented and highly motivated to help others protect their family's financial futures. * Active in their local community, and charitable or professional organizations. * Have an established network of professional and personal contacts. * Possess integrity, a strong work ethic, and the desire to help others plan for and protect their family's financial futures. * Team-oriented individual with a desire to improve his or her interpersonal skills and communication abilities, with some degree of self-confidence. * Able to draw upon past/present experiences and acquaintances to develop and sustain long-term relationships.
