Bankruptcy Attorney The candidate will prepare and review motions for relief from stay for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13s, objections to Chapter 13 plans. Chapter 11 experience and Adversary matters experience a plus, but not required. Responses to motions to value, oppositions to objections to claim, review and interpret all documents (legal & otherwise) deed of trusts, notes, assignments, property title, dockets, pleadings, etc. Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors and debtors' attorneys. Admitted to Practice in California required. Admitted to Practice in other states a plus. Experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research. Must be able to proficiently handle appearances, all aspects of creditor representation with minimal or no supervision. Excellent leadership skills. Excellent communication and organization abilities required. Strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize high volume workload. A portable book of business is a plus.
