Immigration Attorney The candidate will represent clients in all phases of federal and state litigation matters. Preferably have at least 1-2 years of experience litigating detained and non-detained cases in Federal Court. Responsibilities include, meet with potential immigration clients and complete intake. Represent clients in immigration court. Prepare and draft legal documents on behalf of clients. Research applicable areas of immigration law. Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law. Must be licensed in New York. NJ License is a plus. Previous experience in immigration law of 1-2 years is required. Familiarity with drafting legal documents, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to build rapport with clients is needed. Excellent writing, researching, negotiating and verbal communication skills are required.
