Legal Secretary The candidate will be responsible for performing advanced word processing, complex administrative and detailed clerical duties supporting 3-5 Paralegals. Orgaizes a variety of legal documents, letters and requests. Assists paralegals with medical record organization and document management, assist with closing files in accordance with the firm's File Retention Policy and Procedure. Coordinates filings and mailings. Utilizes Winscribe and MS Word to provide transcription services. Utilizes Adobe Acrobat to complete detailed redaction and Bates numbering projects. Ensures all case documents are scanned to each file. Should preferably have 2-5 years of previous legal secretarial or legal office experience. Must have Proficient in MS Office Products. Transcription skills is a plus. Knowledge of legal terminology and processes is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills is needed.
