Personal Injury Associate Attorney The candidate will include a combination of working with prelitigation cases, providing support to partners on catastrophic injury cases, and working with litigation files with our Litigation attorney; will include performing intakes, overseeing the management of prelitigation cases, reviewing and finalizing demands letters, negotiating with insurance carriers, and providing instructions to the backend department for lien resolution, negotiation of medical bills, and determining pocket amounts for clients; will include working on discrete projects on six and seven-figure serious injury and catastrophic cases, including building up damages, assisting to establish liability, working with experts, and working on settlement conference last mediation memoranda. Will include working on discovery, both received and served, legal research, preparing initial drafts of legal papers to file, taking and defending depositions, conducting arbitrations, and serving as support/2nd chair for jury trials. Previous personal injury experience is preferred. Spanish-speaking is helpful. Should preferably have 1 year of Attorneys. Should preferably have a Bar license.
