# Job Title: Workers Compensation Associate Attorney ## Reports To: Workers Compensation Team Lead Attorney, LLC is a premier personal injury law firm located in Kansas City, Missouri. Founded in 2013, the firm has grown to provide clients with professional and compassionate legal representation after personal injury. We are looking for an experienced Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join our team. ## Responsibilities * Handle all aspects of representing clients in their Work Comp matters from the moment the case opens, through each case resolution * Provide direction and supervision to non-attorney staff ensuring adherence to all Workers Compensation laws, regulations, and labor codes * Proactively communicate with clients to provide updates and claim status * Interact and negotiate with insurance companies * Draft case materials, correspondence, pleadings, motions, settlement agreements and other legal documents as required * Ensure accuracy of all documents prepared * Comply with all legal standards and regulations * Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and other various proceedings ## Requirements * Active Bar license in Missouri * 1+ years of law experience ## Preferred Qualifications * Active Bar license in Kansas ## Salary Competitive salary commensurate with experience. ## Benefits * Health, Vision & Dental Insurance * 3 weeks (120) hours of PTO * 401(k) matching retirement plan - up to 4% match * Paid Holidays * Free on-site parking garage * Work-life balance * Stability, LLC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
