Associate Attorney Responsibilities: Drafting and responding to discovery. Drafting and responding to significant motions, including motions for summary judgment. Arguing motions. Taking and defending fact and expert witness depositions. Conducting legal research. Meeting with clients and preparing them for depositions. Second or third chair trial duties. Qualifications: Member in good standing of the Washington State Bar. Excellent academic credentials. 2+ years of litigation experience (or one year of experience with a judicial clerkship). The ability to travel overnight as necessary.
