Trial Lawyer / First Chair Personal Injury Attorney The candidate will run their own docket. Will handle their cases from intake through settlement or jury verdict and over time develop a more sophisticated docket, with the goal of becoming a Senior Litigator. Work directly with clients, drafting demands, motions, pleadings, and discovery. Defend depositions, argue motions in court, handle mediations, and take witnesses at trial. The candidate should have 1 year of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation (first chair). Must be licensed and in good standing with the Colorado State Bar. Licensed and in good standing with TX, AZ, and/or NM State Bars is a plus. Experience drafting and responding to motions essential. Experience in presenting oral arguments at contested hearings and trials (bench and/or jury) needed. Experience taking and defending depositions essential. Substantial knowledge of Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence needed. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
