Estate Planning Paralegal The candidate will practice Estate Planning, Probate, Guardianship, Elder Law and Mediation. Must have: Experience in the following programs a plus: Abacus, QuickBooks, Timeslips, Excel, WordPerfect, Word and PowerPoint, and various internet search engines. Ability to prepare trust accountings and manage/update web site would be an asset. Able to take the initiative, are self-motivated, present a professional and mature demeanor both over the telephone and in person, have a good sense of humor, able to Multitask, are organized, work well in a team environment, and have the ability to re-prioritize ongoing tasks. Must also be comfortable working independently, able to receive instruction on tasks to be performed at a later date and track assigned tasks on own. Must be detailed oriented and able to fill the office's varied needs (e.g. Guy/Gal Friday). Excellent typing skills (60+wpm), proofreading, grammar and spelling corrections a must; ability to draft short letters; answer telephone in a professional, calm and assertive manner; able to clearly relay information to any caller and ability (and patience) to understand and fully transcribe the message from the caller accurately and completely.
