Business Attorney The candidate will be handling breach of contract claims, partnership disputes, and consumer law issues. Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating business documents including but not limited to: purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, operating agreements, and other business-related agreements. Counseling clients regarding general business issues. Strategizing and laying out detailed practical solutions. Executing the solution both by directly working on it or by utilizing and delegating with appropriate junior attorneys and staff. Assessing business documents; evidentiary issues,?and?substantive?law;?communicating with the client and opposing counsel;?taking direction,?delegating,?and coordinating with the team. Preparing cases for success in mediation, trial, and arbitration. Communicating with opposing counsel. A Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited law school is required. Must have 3+ years of commercial/business law litigation/transaction law experience with exceptional writing and analytical skills. Should be a key player. Should show empathy to clients and puts them at ease during their difficult time. Should demonstrate exceptional communication skills. Should be proficient in Microsoft Office and associated technologies.
