Paralegal The candidate will work closely with the attorneys and paralegals on family and business immigration cases. Will answer phones and schedule meetings with attorneys, process incoming and outgoing mail and correspond with clients to gather documents and facts for preparation of paperwork and documents. Input information into immigration forms using LawLogix and compile filings for review by attorneys and for submission to government agencies; draft and prepare attorney letters and cover letters as well as client correspondence for attorney review; interview clients to prepare client affidavits in support of applications; gather, copy, organize and compile supporting documents for applications, petitions and filings, monitor pending cases and manage case deadlines and status issues and prepare and maintain client files in an organized manner. Should preferably have a Bachelor's Degree or a Paralegal Certificate. Must have fluency in reading and writing in Spanish. Excellent analytical, oral, and writing skills are a must. Must be highly proficient in Word, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat. Must be experienced in efficient time management.
