Legal Secretary / Assistant The candidate will maintain attorneys calendars, ticklers, including scheduling and time entry. Prepare, proofread, revise and finalize legal documents as directed by the attorney. Support attorney in connection with all aspects of case management. Submit matter intake sheets, conflicts checks, open files, and close files. Maintain professional appearance and attitude. Must have 3 years of prior secretarial or experience with a law office or local governmental agency. Must have experience in utilizing government websites. Must have proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Should preferably have experience in Environment, Zoning, or Land Development. Must have effective organizational skills. Must have the ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects. Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills necessary to interact with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other agencies are necessary. Must have experience navigating case management software. Client Profiles experience is a plus.
