Legal Secretary - Temporary The candidate must have experience in legal secretary. Must have 3+ years of experience with an ability to perform delegated substantive legal work with an emphasis in litigation. Must possess the ability to work independently and as a team player. Responsibilities include drafting legal documents, formatting, editing and proofreading with attention to detail. Calendaring and familiar with court rules and procedures as well as processing and filing documents. Should be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and possess excellent written and oral communication skills, be detail oriented, and able to prioritize multiple assignments in a timely manner. Typing certificate of 55 wpm is required. This is a temporary assignment lasting about a month.
