Civil Paralegal The candidate will provide superior legal services to the Triad through a team approach. Provide excellent client service and communication so that each client feels welcome, comfortable, and confident working with us. Be well-versed in all legal approaches to problems from aggressive litigation to creative negotiation so that we can find the most effective solution for every client. Develop our team through continuing education and training so each member can excel individually and help promote the team approach. Essential skills include conducting investigations, collecting medical records, drafting documents, prioritizing tasks, providing superior client service, communicating with other attorneys and companies as necessary, and helping with case management. Collect and summarize medical records. Draft routine legal documents for review and use by attorneys. Draft discovery requests and answers and review the same produced by opposing counsel. Coordinate requests between multiple parties involved in litigation by way of consistent communication with the client, claim adjusters, and attorneys. Prepare, organize, and file documents and correspondence. Conduct legal research. Update and maintain internal databases. Prepare witnesses and other materials for trial. Organize relevant documents for attorney review and case preparation. Prepare for and attend depositions. Prepare and organize exhibits during depositions. Prepare and file all court documents. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Familiarity with a Microsoft Office. Excellent Time Management skills. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
