Legal Assistant / Paralegal The candidate will perform a variety of administrative support duties and deliver high-quality services to internal and external clients, exhibiting commitment to integrity and excellence. This role builds a thorough knowledge of all Firm and practice specific administrative processes and procedures, information technology systems, research tools and a broad-based understanding of the clients, matters and associated practices. The scope of responsibility includes prioritizing, managing and following through on multiple projects, and communicating effectively, courteously and professionally with clients, attorneys, and peers. Must exhibit the ability to learn, adapt, and grow with daily oversight and instruction. Must be able to multitask, be flexible in order to meet deadlines, and handle last-minute requests. Should have a high level of organization, ability to be proactive, and a desire to achieve results is essential. Should be comfortable working with a variety of personalities, while maintaining a professional attitude at all times. Lastly, the individual should desire to learn new skills and to expand their position skills over time. Technologically savvy within all Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe PDF products required; experience with document management systems preferred. Must have minimum of 3+ years of related work experience, preferably in a law firm, professional services, or financial environment. An Associate degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related business field preferred.Registered Paralegal (FRP) or Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) preferred.
