Associate Attorney / Associate Lawyer Candidate must be licensed to practice law in the state of Arizona and must have been licensed to practice law for the preceding 5 years (being licensed to practice law in Texas is a plus). 3+ years' Courtroom experience in Arizona is necessary. Must be willing to manage a paper and electronic file; input their time; meet with clients, direct the support staff and attend state court hearings and final trials. Must be familiar with the Arizona Statutes in the areas of law that our firm practices (or become knowledgeable of those areas within the first 2 months of being hired). Must be knowledgeable of the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure. Federal practice experience is a plus as is the ability to speak Spanish. Must be upbeat; a team player and be able to think outside the box; be willing to put the clients needs first; and to pursue cases in keeping with the firm s successful track record. Must be willing to draft and prepare Pleadings, Responses, Subpoenas, letters, proposed Orders, Disclosure, respond to Discovery and perform legal research using Findlaw/West Law search engine, etc. and to draft and prepare Default, Enforcement and Show Cause Pleadings and Responses.
