Legal Secretary - Trust and Estates The candidate's duties includes: Provide high quality administrative support including correspondence, maintain calendars in Outlook for attorneys including scheduling meetings/appointments, process incoming mail, and dictation; Draft estate planning documents, including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Healthcare Proxies, and Living Wills; Witness estate planning documents; Prepare execution copies of estate planning documents for client meetings; Prepare probate papers and Surrogate's Court pleadings; Use Excel to prepare asset charts and charts related to estate planning and similar spreadsheets for estate administration; Notarization of documents (notary license is preferred); Open new matters and enter attorney time into billing system; Phone coverage for multiple attorneys and communicate phone messages in a professional manner; Create and maintain complete and orderly files in a manner that expedites retrieval; understand and ensure record and privacy requirements are followed; General office duties - copy, mail, and scan documents; prepare and send faxes and emails. Should have 4 years trust and estate secretarial experience. Excellent Microsoft Outlook and Word skills; Experience in Excel. Experience in Skype for Business and/or Microsoft Teams welcomed.
