This large international boutique firm has more than 900 lawyers in 16 different locations. It counsels clients on all aspects of global business, technology transactions, and intellectual property protection. With associates practicing more than 30 practice areas, clients are kept pretty well satisfied. While the Connecticut office may not be the largest, compensation and billable hours requirements are at market level for firms of the same size. This can be a big advantage for the smaller satellite offices.
New York City office seeks a senior online marketing coordinator with 3+ years of legal marketing, agency, corporate communications or Web production experience. The candidate will work with the marketing applications administrator in developing the timelines and processes for the firm's website including all site functionality and design specifications and uploading all new and edited content to the website using the Firm's new Web content management and publishing program. Will work on the redevelopment/design of the new website and help implement all changes slated for Phase. Coordinate and post publications, news, events, awards, rankings, league tables and multimedia files, review all Web submissions for grammar and style to ensure consistent formatting and prioritize all website-posting submissions to ensure timeliness. The coordinator will routinely organize and archive Web information, monitor and evaluate Web analytics data, and refine information for quarterly online marketing status reports. Will work closely with Director of Online Marketing and Technology and assist with ongoing Search Engine Optimization (SEO) efforts. Will also work with outside vendors on special projects such as the Alumni website and Proposal Generator, and work with the IT department in the evaluation and testing of tools, client-facing electronic media products and services (Podcasts, alumni Website, proposal database). Will also prepare and process vendor invoices, create project timelines, agendas, and report re-caps and schedule meetings when requested. The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field or additional coursework in marketing or communications. Should be proficient with Word, Excel and web content management tools and have basic knowledge of HTML and Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge of InterAction or similar CRM program is a plus.
