Law Firm is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of experience as a Paralegal. A paralegal certificate is preferred. The Paralegal will provide prompt and effective support to multiple attorneys. Responsibilities include: - Meeting with potential and current clients - Updating and communicating with clients on the status of their cases - Creating and managing case files for both pre-suit and litigation cases - Drafting and/or proofreading correspondences, pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents - Scheduling and tracking depositions, mediations, hearings, court deadlines, and other appointments/meetings - Conducting legal research - Performing other administrative duties and assignments as required by the managing attorneys The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and Lexis/Westlaw, and the ability to multitask. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation commensurate with experience.
