Legal Secretary Duties: Supports the delivery of quality legal services to clients by providing secretarial and administrative assistance to Attorneys, working collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment. Consistently and professionally communicates with clients, vendors and firm personnel. Accurately files court documents. Consistently completes assigned tasks as expected. Willing and capable to offer assistance to others when needed. Enters, reviews and revises timesheets accurately. Develops, implements and maintains systems to promote organization and efficiency. Maintains an exceptional client service attitude and professional demeanor at all times. Shows initiative, flexibility, resiliency and a willingness to adapt to change. Takes ownership and gets the job done without the need for direct supervision. Maintains a positive, can do attitude when dealing co-workers and attorneys. Contributes to an atmosphere of teamwork and congeniality. Reviews and follows-up on client deadlines and calendar appointments. Coordinates and makes necessary arrangements for meetings. Qualifications: 3-years of secretary experience. A high level of awareness and protection of confidential information. Strong ability to manage deadlines. Ability to effectively proofreads documents. Sound excel abilities. Ability to draft correspondence, memoranda and other documents. Willing to develop dictation skills.
