Part-Time Administration Assistant/Paralegal Duties: Interview and screening of clients about accident and injuries. Gathering insurance information from clients. Review of insurance information. Review police and witness reports. Gathering medical reports and bills of clients. Review of review medical reports and bills of clients. Gathering medical lien information from health insurers. Schedule medical examination appointments and follow up with clients. Take photos of a scene. Interview witnesses. Assist in preparing settlement demands. Assist in settlement documentation. Working with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
Qualifications: High School degree or equivalency. Fluent in English and Spanish. Great communication and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of individuals from diverse backgrounds. Ability to respect HIPAA laws and the privacy of your clients. Ability to work as a supportive and interactive team player. General Understanding of medical terminology, common injuries, and basic human anatomy. Ability to do word processing, spreadsheet and data entry. (WORD & EXCEL). Strong client service orientation.
