The practice in their Seattle office is limited to intellectual property matters, and their attorneys all have technical backgrounds. The firm has a friendly, collegial atmosphere where extensive training and mentoring is available. Salaries are at the top of the market, but billable hours requirements are quite reasonable.
Palo Alto office seeks Patent Agent with 2-4 years of patent prosecution experience. Must have excellent academic credentials, a degree in electrical engineering, physics, computer science or mechanical engineering; and USPTO registration. Must have a strong background in software or semiconductor work. Relevant industry experience and law firm experience is strongly preferred.
