Bankruptcy Associate Attorney The candidate will do a representation of clients at Court appearances, preparation of motions, objections, proposed orders, memoranda of law, proofs of claim, and Rule 3002.1 filings. Prepare correspondence and submissions to clients, adversaries, and to the Court. Experience representing secured creditors in consumer Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy cases. Must have 1-3 years of experience and a working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code and Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure. Must have a solid understanding of consumer loan documents, top-notch organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines. Be admitted to practice law in New Jersey, the District and Bankruptcy Courts in New Jersey, and have a familiarity with New Jersey bankruptcy local rules, and court procedures. Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania and experience in litigation-related matters is a strong plus.
