Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility Attorney (part-time) The candidate will provide research and other critical support to members of the Office of General Counsel and individual lawyers, as well as other departments throughout the Firm. Primary responsibilities will include research and advising firm attorneys on a variety of substantive ethics, privilege and liability issues as they arise. Additional responsibilities include review and analysis of business intake conflicts, outside counsel guidelines and ethical screens, counseling on bar admissions issues, advising the Marketing and Strategy, Talent Management and Business Intake teams, maintaining the firm-wide ethics portal and co-editing Thompson Hine's legal ethics blog, The Law for Lawyers Today, which has received recognition by the ABA journal. A minimum of 3 years of experience in legal practice in a law firm setting is strongly preferred. Prior experience in an ethics role is helpful but not required, as training will be provided. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, thorough and organized with a client-service mindset.
