Bankruptcy Associate Attorney The candidate will prepare and review motions for relief from stay for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13s, objections to Chapter 13 plans. Chapter 11 experience and Adversary matters experience a plus. Responses to motions to value, oppositions to objections to claim, review and interpret all documents (legal and otherwise) deed of trusts, notes, assignments, property title, dockets, pleadings, etc. Respond to court notifications and inquiries received from clients, debtors, and debtors' attorneys. Must have 3 years of relevant experience representing creditors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy matters; admitted to practice in good standing and all federal bankruptcy courts, in other states a plus; experience in drafting pleadings, making court appearances, and case law research; excellent leadership skills, communication and organization abilities; strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize high volume workload. Must be able to proficiently handle appearances, all aspects of creditor representation with minimal or no supervision.
