Associate Attorney, Part-time Duties: Consulting with clients to ascertain the details and merits of each case. Conducting research using legislation, case law, and other legal texts. Drafting legal texts, including pleadings and discovery. Representing clients at meetings, hearings, and at trials. Qualifications: 2+ years of experience as a practicing Attorney licensed in the State of Texas. Knowledge of methods and techniques of legal research and the use of statutes, codes and other legal resources. Knowledge of functions and jurisdictions of local, state, and federal courts. Skill in analytical and problem-solving techniques. Skill in both verbal and written communication and interpersonal relations. Skill in work management and organization. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
