Associate Attorney Law The candidate will oversee the firm's civil litigation cases. Preparing for and attending depositions. Answering discovery. Evaluating claims. Drafting and preparing pleadings, motions, and briefs. Formulating legal strategy. Conducting legal research. Managing document production. Providing legal guidance and support to clients. Collecting retainers from clients and executing contracts that specify the parameters of the working relationship. Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA accredited law school. Texas State Bar License in good standing and without restrictions. 3 years of experience in civil litigation. Experience in all aspects of trial preparation including client intake, investigation, pleadings, motion hearings, depositions, trial, and court presentations. Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills. Excellent interpersonal, networking, and business development skill. Solo attorney experience. Admission to the Federal Courts. Real Estate Defense preferred. Labor and Employment Law preferred. Business Litigation preferred. General Civil Litigation preferred.
