Family Law Attorney The candidate should be licensed in California and have graduated from an accredited law school. Substantive experience and knowledge of statutes, regulations, and rules affecting family law (or motivated to obtain very fast) are required. Litigation skills and courtroom trial experience are needed. Excellent writing and people skills are essential. Creative think outside the box problem-solving skills are a must. Excellent presentation and communication in court and at the office are necessary. Should have the desire to thrive in an intellectually challenging field that makes a life-changing impact on clients. Must have sharp attention to detail and an outstanding reputation of professional integrity and ethics. The ability to handle high assets and highly complex caseloads with minimal supervision is a prerequisite.
