Consumer Financial Services - Attorney Duties: Focuses on a wide range of issues involving consumer finance and privacy laws, including bank and non-bank consumer lenders, credit reporting, background screening, fair housing, debt collection, credit repair, auto finance, mortgage lending and servicing, online lending and payment processing. Resolve litigation, provide regulatory guidance and assist with investigations and actions initiated by government agencies. Candidate must have strong academic and professional credentials. Candidates must also be licensed and in good standing with the California bar. Admissions to other bars a plus. Must have 2-3 years of litigation experience. Experience with the following is a plus: Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
