## Attorney at is looking for an experienced attorney to join their team in the Ft. Lauderdale office. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited university, be an active member in good standing with the Florida Bar and have a minimum of 1 year experience in first party property, PIP, auto, premises liability, medical malpractice, and long-term care defense litigation. ## Responsibilities The successful candidate will be expected to: * Draft initial reports, interim reports, pre-trial reports * Draft discovery and respond to discovery * Draft and respond to discovery related motions * Regularly attend court appearances * Take and defend depositions of fact witnesses and expert witnesses * Draft motions for summary judgment * Trial experience is a plus ## Requirements * Admitted to practice in the State of Florida * Minimum of 1 year experience * Analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent research abilities and written and oral communication skills ## Benefits QPWB supports its staff with a dedicated training and resource center which is available at the time of hire and throughout employment with the firm.
