Norfolk office seeks a legal/practice support specialist with an undergraduate degree and experience in a technical position, preferably with a law firm. Will support attorneys/paralegals in use of litigation software (or other support tools) in preparation of cases and trials; provide technical support/services regarding strategies and resources for electronic discovery; document production and database design, maintenance and normalization; assist with trial preparation and court room technical support; manage imaged documents and electronic data; utilize litigation support and court room presentation tools and technologies (Concordance, Summation, iManage, Trial Director, Sanction II, iPro, iConectNxt, Doculex, LiveNote, CaseMap, PowerPoint, MS Access, Excel or equivalent); coordinate project set-up, scanning and coding of documents with staff/vendors; train legal staff and IT department on software applications and use of current technology; and provide summaries and reports of each case or matter. May work in court room setting. Some travel and overtime necessary.
