Immigration Attorney The candidate will handle family-based, employment-based, and/or removal defense cases. Should have strong legal research and writing skills and experience in immigration law. Conduct consultations with potential clients to assess options and determine case strategy. Manage cases by preparing filings, communicating with clients and monitoring billing. Represent clients before the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Mentor staff members to develop their understanding of cases and skill set. Supervise the progression of cases managed by case managers. Attend marketing events in the community, sometimes on weekends or evenings. Assist in the overall development and growth of the firm. Must be able to manage a high caseload in an organized manner. Should be able to communicate with clients in a professional, compassionate and concise manner. Should be available for Firm promotional activities and participate in events and activities that generate and expand the business. Bar Admission (any state, Minnesota preferred) needed. Oral and written fluency in Spanish required. Should have 2-3 years of experience in immigration law. Must have strong critical thinking and writing skills.
