The Pre-Lit Supervisor/Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance to clients, meeting with them to discuss their cases, strategizing solutions, and representing them in legal proceedings. ## Qualifications The ideal candidate for this position will have the following qualifications: * Valid Bar license * 2+ years of experience in legal case management and civil litigation * Ability to work independently and with a team of attorneys * Excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, public speaking, and communication skills * Adaptability and attention to detail * Good analytical skills and research skills * Ability to draw logical and reasonable conclusions from the available information * Strong judgment and decision-making skills ## Responsibilities The Pre-Lit Supervisor/Attorney will be expected to fulfill the following responsibilities: * Advise clients on the best behavior while charges are pending, including confiding in family and friends and social media use * Meet with clients to discuss the pending charges and strategize on how best to defend * Communicate with clients to understand their legal concerns and needs to help provide essential pieces of advice * Strategize on how to resolve the clients cases in a favorable and cost-effective manner * Enlighten clients about legal options and make them know the possible outcomes or threats * Develop arguments and represent clients in civil and criminal legal proceedings * Prepare legal documents such as dispositions, pleadings, and contracts in a timely and accurate manner * Assist clients with the execution of agreements such as plea bargains with the regional attorney's office * Collect retainers from clients and execute contracts * Supervise a team of their own * Meet goals the firm has set * Train new staff members joining their team * Collaborate with co-workers on ideas and new policy implementation ## Benefits In addition to a salary of $90,000 - $150,000 a year, the Pre-Lit Supervisor/Attorney will receive health, vision, and dental insurance benefits.
